1. Overview

Shiftalk ("the App") is a Japanese language learning application for foreign workers in Japan. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Effective date: April 1, 2026

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Shiftalk does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. We do not collect:

Name, email address, or phone number
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Location data
Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers
Any data that identifies you personally

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device:

Learning progress – which phrases you have marked as mastered
Study streak – consecutive study days count
UI language preference – Vietnamese / Indonesian / English
Selected industry – Factory / Restaurant / Care
Notification setting – on/off toggle (UI only; no push notifications are sent)
Custom phrases – phrases you add in My Phrases
Onboarding status – whether you have completed the intro screens

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following device-native features. These operate on your device and are governed by your operating system's privacy policy:

Text-to-Speech (expo-speech) – uses your device's built-in TTS engine to read Japanese phrases aloud. No audio data is sent to our servers.

We do not integrate any advertising networks, analytics SDKs (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude), or social login services.

5. Children's Privacy

Shiftalk is designed for adult foreign workers. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

6. Data Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the App.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.

Shiftalk（以下「本アプリ」）は、在日外国人労働者向けの日本語フレーズ学習アプリです。本ポリシーでは、本アプリが扱う情報について説明します。

2. 収集しない情報

本アプリは、個人情報を外部サーバーで収集・送信・保存しません。収集しない情報：

氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号
デバイス識別子・広告ID
位置情報
利用統計・クラッシュレポート
個人を特定できるあらゆるデータ

3. デバイス内に保存されるデータ

以下のデータのみ、お使いのデバイス内に保存されます（AsyncStorage使用）。外部には送信されません：

学習進捗：習得済みフレーズ
連続学習日数（ストリーク）
UI言語設定：ベトナム語・インドネシア語・英語
選択業種：工場・飲食・介護
通知設定：ON/OFFのみ（実際の通知は送信されません）
カスタムフレーズ：「マイフレーズ」に追加したフレーズ
オンボーディング完了フラグ

4. サードパーティサービス

テキスト読み上げ（expo-speech）：デバイス内蔵のTTSエンジンを使用して日本語を読み上げます。音声データは外部に送信されません。

広告ネットワーク・分析SDK（Firebase等）・ソーシャルログインは一切使用しておりません。

5. 子どものプライバシー

本アプリは成人労働者向けです。13歳未満の方の情報は収集しておりません。

6. データの削除

アプリをアンインストールすることで、すべてのデータを削除できます。

7. ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーを変更する場合は、このページに新しい内容と施行日を掲載します。

Số ngày học liên tiếp (streak)
Ngôn ngữ giao diện đã chọn
Ngành nghề đã chọn
Cài đặt thông báo (chỉ UI)
Cụm từ tùy chỉnh trong "Cụm từ của tôi"

4. Dịch vụ bên thứ ba

Chuyển văn bản thành giọng nói (expo-speech): Sử dụng TTS tích hợp sẵn trên thiết bị. Không gửi dữ liệu âm thanh ra ngoài.

5. Xóa dữ liệu

Gỡ cài đặt ứng dụng để xóa toàn bộ dữ liệu.
